I find myself drawn to painting murals that really make an impact. Art in hospitals and schools can lead to better outcomes with kids. I have always sought to bring joy with my art, but now I think that calm might be an even better gift. If I can help ease a child’s stress before a procedure or during a rough day, then I feel a sense of accomplishment. We need to add more art to kids’ spaces. It brightens their little eyes and helps the amazing people who work with children every day. #hannasmur

I’m really into murals that solve problems lately, and if you’ve ever hung out at an elementary school, you know there are a lot of playground problems. So many little conflicts that need to get resolved, and isn’t it so much better when the kids can solve it themselves without going to a teacher.
